Today Madi decided she was ready to actually walk and not just fall into us. Of course by the time we got the camera all set up and ready to tape she had about had it (as you will see!).
Daniel recently built himself a standing desk with some scrap wood but realized after he finished that it would not fit through the office door so it's now in our den. When he works at it he loves to prop his foot up on the bottom bar. Today Madison came over to check out what he was doing and decided she would do the same. (Please excuse Daniel's tacky socks and crocs!)
This weekend Gigi, Michael and Jac came to help us have our first official yard sale. We made a wopping $160 but got rid of a bunch of junk. I wore one of my Great Grandma Rose's old necklaces but nobody wanted to buy it from me!
Check out the new kicks that my mom got me at the thrift store for $2.99! I thought you also might like to see that I finally got some meat on my legs!!
Last week after the rain was finally done we made it outside for a picnic in the front yard. Daniel really hates eating outside because he gets hot, has nothing to support his back and without fail something always falls in his food (leaves, bugs, etc.)so we really appreciated him joining us. Madi loved taking his sunglasses (which belong to me!)on and off. She is also starting to stand by herself a lot!
Here is a small glimpse of the fun and chaos that happens here at the "Bass Pond"...we are so thankful for the 3 special girls the Lord has given us...and are doing our best to trust God as we raise them...
