Cooking Cookies

I have been trying to have Madi help me in the kitchen more. She mostly just make a mess so its kind of a pain but I know she is learning things and having fun so its worth it! Every week she helps me make dessert for Daniel's Bible study guys. She loves to scoop things out and put the first one on the tray or in the pan and then usually the next few bites go straight into her mouth!

We have been working on a number of different faces recently. Madison's sour face is our favorite by far!

Halloween Ladybug

I expected to receive a "Halloween outfit boycott" but Madison happily put on her costume and even appeased us by going around the neighborhood to a few houses so we could meet our neighbors. She looked really cute! I thought for sure she would probably wake up sick in the middle of the night from all the junk she ate that night but thankfully she slept great! (Thanks for the costume Gigi!)

Blowing Bubbles

One of Madison's new infatuations is gum. So Daniel thought it would be great idea to let her put his gum in her mouth, chew it for a few seconds and then give it back to him. This works really well until about the third time around when she just swallows it! He also thought it would be cool to blow bubbles and then let her hold the bubble in her mouth - she thought this was one of the best things ever!!!!!!!

Barn Party

Every year Crusade has a Barn Party out at the farm. Gigi (my mom) got Madi all dressed up for the occasion and brought her out for a visit. She danced the night away, ate corn on the cob and of course could not pass on the chance to kiss a cowboy!

Tailgate Time

Madison loves many things - 2 of which include hush puppies and her friend Brennan (who she likes to call Benny)! Fortunately for Madi she gets to enjoy both of these things almost every Saturday at our tailgates before the NCSU football games.

Way Behind

Many apologies to all you faithful blog checkers who check our blog weekly for updates. In order to catch up I am just going to put up some random pictures from the last month or so. She is about 17 months in these pictures. She is as crazy as ever and loves to feed herself, wear these really big boots around that my mom bought her and pull anything out that she sees in drawers!
