Headbands

Since we finally have a kid with hair I am going to start working the hair accessories becuase I want her to like them. I know I dont do a lot with my own hair but I would like to do my kids' hair. Madi still refuses to put anything in her hair sadly. However, I continue to buy new clips and headbands about once a week hoping one day she will decide she wants to wear them!

Driving the Boat

This was the only boat Madi was interesting in driving that day despite asking her several times if she wanted to drive the big boat on the water. She decided to stick pretty close to home (i.e. me and Daniel) once we got moving out on the water!

Finally a Boat Ride

We have been talking with our friend Chris for over a year now about going out on his boat and it finally happened this past Labor Day! Madi loves boats but I was so scared she was going to freeze when we got on it but she didn't. She had a great time. The only thing she did not like was when I got in the water to go skiing. She kept telling Daniel "I dont want mommy to go faster". The funny thing was that she did not seem to care at all when Daniel was in the water kneeboarding! Thanks for the fun trip Uncle Toes (Madi's name for ChrisTOPHer)!

Sleepy Ash

Ash is quite the squirmy baby. She is rolling all over the place recently - from front to back and back to front! I had set Ash on this great big blanket Gigi got for her to go to sleep on and when I came back in she was sleeping right next to it.

Jac and Gigi Visit

Aunt Jac and Gigi came through town last week and stopped in for short visit. It was fun to see them and of course their dogs too which Madi loves. Maybe next time they will stay longer! I decided to include a picture of Madi and me cause I rarely ever make it in a picture.

Shirtless Kid

So I realized as I was looking through pictures that we have whole lot of pictures of Madi with no shirt on. Believe it or not she actually wears a shirt 95% of the time but for some reason when the camera is around she does not have one on. She is also really into taking things off if they get a spill on them or they become the slightest bit wet. All that to say here a few shirtless pics of Madi from when our sweet friend Michelle babysat for the girls!
