Fun

Madi loves coloring with Daniel - it is so fun to watch how far her coloring has come in just a few short months! Halfway through taking pictures Ashlyn insisted that I take her picture too but then she kept rolling over and hiding from me under her blanket.

Easter Treats

On a side noted totally unrelated to the pictures - just wanted to tell you guys that if you have not picked yourself up a "Reester Bunny" yet you should try and go get one. My friend Kyle just gave me one and it is quite amazing!! Here is Madi proudly displaying our Rice Krispee Easter egg treats!

Balloons

Nothing beats the samples all over Harris Teeter that we munch on throughout our entire shopping trip except for the balloons at the end! Notice the really concerned face when Ash's balloon detached from her string and floated away. Madison never minded this at all - in fact as soon as we get to the car or at least by the time we get home she is ready to let her ballon go. She has never brought one into the house. Not sure if thats normal for a kid or a not but for a mom who hates clutter and junk I don't mind it a bit!!

This is what Daniel found at the breakfast table...I guess Ash beat him to pouring her bowl of cereal!

Family Night at the Lake

Daniel has been swamped recently trying to finish up campus stuff and finish up his 2seminary classes. He really works hard though in the midst of all of it to make time for us. Last week, we took the girls down to a near-by lake to feed the ducks. If you notice, I am not in many of the pictures because honestly I am really afraid of geese - they kind of remind me of cats and seem fairly unpredictable. I especially was timid this day because a lady running by told us to be careful cause they are hissing and coming at people and trying to bite them - no thank you!

Maturing Madison

Seems like she gets older and more mature everyday - is it sad that I feel that way and she is not even 4 yet?? Of course, then she throws a fit, blatantly disobeys me and won't share her toys and I am quickly reminded she has along way to go in the area of maturity!

Curly Sue

Not sure where Ash's curly hair has all of sudden come from but as soon as she sleeps on it she is a mess of curls!

Tasha Comes to Town

Oops - I meant Aunt Jac came and visited and brought her dog Tasha with her! I am still so amazed that the girls love animals so much since we are not really animal people - to say the least! The highlight of our weekend visit was our "tub party" - where me and my big belly, Madi, Ash, Jac and my entire linen closet of pillows and blankets all got in the tub for about 15 minutes while tornados touched down all around us. Thankfully, they all ended up a few miles away and we were fine.
