Killing Time

There are only so many things you can do in a car after 7 hours especially trapped in a car seat! Madison was a real trooper though!

Balloons and Buckets

"Baoons" as Madison would say are a new favorite toy! She points them out everywhere we go and gets really frustrated that they are not free everywhere. She is also extremely creative and managed to do about everything she could with this bucket!

Fun Land

We took Madison to fun land - a place my brother and I grew up going as kids. She was not quite old enough to really enjoy it but we certainly had fun. I think my family won like 25 stuffed animals which they graciously gave to Madison!

More Beach

Bethany Beach Time

For our vacation this summer we loaded up the car (my mom's car actully since she was so nice to let us borrow it!) and headed 8 hours up to Bethany Beach, DE to spend time with my Dad's family. We hit the road about 8pm thinking Madison would just sleep right through the night while we drove. This was a really good plan til we hit a really bad wreck at about midnight and sat on the highway with the car parked and turned off for one hour. As soon as we stopped Madi woke up and started throwing up everywhere. She then began choking on it so I had to get her out of her seat while throwing up all over me. It was quite the disaster. After wiping and toweling everything off we then had to put her back in her seat for the rest of the ride. It was so sad and extremely smelly. That will be the last time we ever eat Little Ceasar's pizza before getting in the car!

I Scream for Ice Cream

Although Madison continues to look nothing like me she at least has my sweet tooth! She can put away some homemeade ice cream especially after a long day playing on the lake!

Lake Party

Some good friends of Daniel's parents invited us to their lake house for the day. We were really suprised how much Mdaison liked the lake becuase she is still not a huge fan of the pool!

Uncle Jon and Aunt Margot Visit

A few weeks before Daniel's brother Jon deployed for Iraq they came and stayed with us for a night and then we all went and spent the weekend in Greensboro. It was so fun to see them and get some extended time with them!
