Candy, Candy, Candy

Grandpa and Bicky (aka my stepmom Vickie)sent Madison a really fun Valentine's package yesterday. She was super excited to enjoy 2 hershey kisses and five conversation hearts! She ate them and then immediately got up and started dancing around!

Valentines Day = Craft Time

I try to do some kind of craft time with Madison at least a couple days out of the week. With Valentine's Day coming up we have had plenty to do! Here she is hard at work...the "craft apron" she is wearing belonged to her Aunt Jac as a little girl - it's the perfect apron to make a mess on!

Madi's New Clothes

Some friends/family of ours recently offered us lots of their cute little girl's clothes. We have already gotten lots of use out of them! And Madison loves knowing she is putting on Kate's shirt, pants, dress, etc. Thanks Heather and Kate!

A Pretty Day at the Park

We could not help but get outside every free chance we had this past weekend. It was so beautiful! We biked to the park and Madi had a great time - I am not sure if she even realized we were at the park with her! At 28 weeks pregnant, I have decided that riding a mountain bike is not the most comfortable thing mostly because you have to stay bent over the whole time to hold onto the handle bars but it was fun to get out and do something different as a family!

Dancing Rolls

Still not sure where she got her dance moves or what the deal with the forward rolls was or why she wanted her diaper off but we went with it!

Dress Dancing

One of Madi's new favorite things to do is turn on our clock radio and then start dancing like a maniac in front of the mirror. She started pretty strong in her church dress but quickly wanted to "lighten her load" and asked us to take off her dress so she could keep going - refer to the next video...

Marker Maniac

Daniel had the privilege of hanging out with Madi this week for 3 days by himself. They went to her first art class together, ate at Bojangles with some students, and went to Chick Fil A for kids night. When I got home there were tulips on the table, Madi was freshly bathed, the house had just been vacuumed and Madi had colored me a "Welcome Home" card - what a treat! Needless to say Madison now has a new affection for real markers (not the invisible kind).

Madi's Hat

Daniel's Mom got Madi this really cute scotty dog dress for Christmas and she wore it to church for the first time last week. When we got home she decided she wanted to watch "The Wiggles" - her new favorite video. There is this one part where all the little girls are dancing in these cheesy hats and costumes. Every time this part comes on Madison asks for a hat. She happened to have a hat that matched her dress so I gave it to her and she wore it for the rest of the video. She now asks for that hat every time she watches the video. She looks so cute and ridiculous at the same time!
