Let the beach trip begin
We have not been on a family vacation in a long time with my mom so this year she got us a great house down in Garden City, SC. Daniel, my brother and my uncle Billy all came down for a few days and my mom and me and the girls stayed for the rest of the week. The weather was absolutely perfect and it felt like a summer week - notlike the end of September. We went out to dinner every night and Madi met another 3 year old friend that she loved playing with everyday on the beach! Thanks so much Mom!

Tailgate Time
Daddy Fun
Ballet Begins
Despite what all of you out there might think possible, Daniel and I agreed to let Madison start ballet before soccer. Here is the proof! She is loving it and her outgoing personality shines at every class. She talks with the teacher the whole time and stays right by her side. She is constantly negotiating for an extra ribbon or doll to twirl and usually gets her way. Today she even talked the teacher into letting them use the big ballet bar to practice their pleas (sp??) - she is amazing. It's fun to watch her learn and even listen a little bit!
More Princess
Princess Party #1
I hvae a feeling we have more of these in our future as we embark on the age of princess obsession - I know barbies are not too far be around the corner - yikes! Madi's good friend riley had the sutest princess party for her 4th birthday. The girls got to put on lipstick and kiss the "frog" to see if he woul turn into a prince and lots of other fun games. Madi ate up every bit of it!
So Comfy
Every night before bed Daniel goes into the girls room to make sure Madi is in the center of the bed and not hanging off the side and Ash is covered and has her blankie close by and he is always comes in and tells me how comfy Ash always looks. This particualr night he could not believe the resmblnace between her and her dolly -don't they both look so comfy???
Leader's Retreat
Mid-August we headed down to garden City, SC with 200 of our student leaders. The girls and I spent most of our time there on the beach while everyone else sat in meetings - not a bad deal! Madison of course used the time to talk Riley into playing doctor with her - I wonder when this pretend doctor game will get old??
