So Madison and I were having breakfast the other morning and I put the computer on and played this Elmo Rap Video I found on You Tube. And then I procededed to teach her everything I know about rap dancing which is not a whole lot if you have ever seen me dance! Madison though took the move to heart and made it her very own. Check it out!
Who knew oven mitts could be so amusing? Leave it to Madison to make something out of nothing. She was so proud to wear these on her hands and especially proud when she could actually pick somthing up with the glove on. She is so funny! No comments on the burn marks all over the mitts - I'm still not the greatest cook in the world!
Daniel took us to feed the ducks and have a picnic at Lake Johnson. It was the first time Madi fed the ducks the crackers and not just herself. We also took a nature walk and threw rocks in the water.
Madison has been amazing these first couple weeks as campus life has started back up again. She has worked survey tables with me on campus, been to several cookouts, helped me make banana pudding for tailgates, gone to wedding with us for people on our staff team and so many other things! She does not know a stranger and loves saying bye to everyone who walks by.
Here is a small glimpse of the fun and chaos that happens here at the "Bass Pond"...we are so thankful for the 3 special girls the Lord has given us...and are doing our best to trust God as we raise them...
