Farmers Market
As we woke up at 8:00am - what a treat - on Saturday morning we realized that we had absolutley nothing scheduled for the day. We decided to head to the Farmer's Market for some pictures and maybe pick up a few things. Daniel splurged and bought me this amazing homemade cinnamon roll bread loaf thingy to bring home - it was gone in 2 days!
Raleigh State Fair
It would not be the Fall without taking a trip to the State Fair. (It's not really Daniel's "cup of tea" with all the people and germs everywhere but I still think it's pretty fun.) The girls love looking at the animals and riding the rides. It was fun this year cause we did not have to go on everything with Madison - she got to ride with her friend Riley. Our food highlights were our annual ham biscuits from one of the church tents and a chocolate dipped cheesecake on a stick! It absolutely blows my mind to think how much money people spend on rides and food and games at the fair - it is truly a cultural experience!
Sister Friends
Getting Ready for Fall
As for Madison, there are moments I want to eat her up followed pretty quickly by moments where I could think of a lot of other things I want to do to her - all the joy of having a 3 1/2 yer old strong willed but great little girl! Here she is modeling her halloween outfit. I made her skirt out of an old dish towel my dad gave us. Looks pretty good from afar!
Cutie Pie Ash
I know everyone always talks about wanting to eat their kiddos up because they are so cute and Ash is at that perfect age. She is only fussy when she is tired or not feeling well, other than that she is as happy as can be! She loves to give hugs, kisses and her vocabulary and personality is expanding everyday. She loves to say "cheese" and has this great, really intense smile. She is so fun to be around right now!
Official News
Yes we are pregnat. No we are not having a boy. And no we are not having twins. Despite Madison's rather confusing announcement we do not yet know what we ar ehaving but we are due May 23rd and can find out if it's a boy or a girl around Christmas time. Everyone keeps asking if we really want a boy this time but both of us really don't care at all - we're kind of used to girls! We are more thankful than ever for the gift God has put inside of me. We have so many friends who have had complications before, during and after pregnancy and so we know that each day is a gift.

Let the beach trip begin
We have not been on a family vacation in a long time with my mom so this year she got us a great house down in Garden City, SC. Daniel, my brother and my uncle Billy all came down for a few days and my mom and me and the girls stayed for the rest of the week. The weather was absolutely perfect and it felt like a summer week - notlike the end of September. We went out to dinner every night and Madi met another 3 year old friend that she loved playing with everyday on the beach! Thanks so much Mom!
