In honor of Valentine's Day, Madison and I decided to suprise Daniel and have a "pink" dinner party for him when he got home from class today. We made pink pancakes with strawberries, cherry flavored applesauce, and raspberry smoothies. We also decorated the table with paper heart plates, heart placemats and heart-shaped napkins. For our school craft today we made a hanging heart chain thingy (from Martha Stewart's website) - it actually turned out really cool. The picture does not do it justice cause it looks really different when the sun shines through it. We shaved crayons and then ironed them in between wax paper - quite a mess but really fun!
