I am thankful that our immediate family lives only about an hour away - it makes a shirt day trip totally worth it. Purple and Vma came down last weekend to watch Madison's soccer practice - which mostly consisted of her crying and saying that everyone was being mean because they were taking her ball away. Then, we got to take them to their first NC State Crusade tailgate - we introduced them to some really good BBQ, sweet tea, hushpuppies, fried apples and banana pudding.
