We had the most amazing 12 hour drive down to Destin, Florida last week thanks to Gigi getting us a DVD player for the car. I think we heard E-I-E-I-O about 50 times on the way down but it was worth every minute of it. Madison never whined once or asked to get out of her seat the entire drive! A friend of ours let us stay at his beach house for 3 days to spend time together as a family before heading over to Pananma City Beach where we met up with some of our students for a conference over spring break. We had a very relaxing time - playing on the beach, eating dinner out every night and swimming in the outdoor heated pool! We are learning to treasure every minute we get to spend together as a family!
