Going Big

Next, Madison decided she wanted to walk across the swinging rope bridge. She was determined and I thought for sure by the time she climbed all the way to the top with Daniel she would chicken out and come back down. Nobody was pressuring her to do anything. She got to the top and walked out onto the swaying, swinging, moving - you get the point - bridge with rope holds that were pretty far apart because it was made for adults like it was no big deal at all. She meticulously stepped from plank to plank and looked back to Daniel every now and then for some encouragement. At certain points where she could not reach she would adjust by turning sideways and stepping. At other points she would just have to step and grab the rope hold afterwards. She was so calculated. The best part was that when she got to the end of the bridge she yells - "what do I do now?" to which Daniel responds "you just have to turn around and walk back" - and so she did like it was no big deal - even moving a bit faster this time.
